ISLAND: The Kodiak Island Borough of Alaska to include all the islands of the Kodiak archipelago and their interior and coastal waterways. TRAIL: Any route over land or water used for recreational purposes. NETWORK: 1. A series of connections among trails. 2. A series of connections among trail user groups, organizations, and landowners.
	OUR PURPOSES Raise and provide funds for development, maintenance, and promotion of sustainable trail systems. Educate the community through informational materials, training and other activities about the health, social, environmental and economic benefits of trails and public access. Promote safety during trail use through awareness, education, and instruction. Help maintain existing trail systems throughout the island. Preserve and improve public access to trails. Develop and promote conservation, restoration and beautification projects for trails. Engage in any activities necessary or incidental to the development, maintenance, and promotion of trails.
